Greenway Health brings decades of ambulatory EMR experience and a reasonably broad feature set to the small and mid-size practice segment. The Intergy product line targets larger groups while Prime Suite serves smaller practices, though both share a user interface that has not been meaningfully modernized in recent years. Billing and revenue cycle management remain the platform's strongest area, and the Greenway Exchange interoperability network provides useful connectivity for practices in participating regions. In our evaluation, Greenway lost points primarily on usability, mobile experience, and pricing value. The interface requires more clicks than necessary for common tasks, the mobile offering is not competitive, and the pricing does not reflect the experience delivered compared to modern alternatives. The 2019 DOJ settlement over false certification claims is also a factor that some practices weigh in their vendor evaluation. Greenway remains functional for practices already on the platform, but new practices have more compelling options available at lower price points.
"Billing works but the interface is painful. We stay because migration is expensive."
"Functional platform with good specialty support. Needs significant UI modernization."
"It does the job but every task takes more clicks than it should. Looking at alternatives."
Mid-size specialty practices that need established billing infrastructure and are already invested in the Greenway ecosystem, particularly in OB/GYN, pediatrics, and orthopedics.
